Important transition and conjunction dates:
11 Jan: Ra – Ve
02 Feb: Ra – Me
22 May: Sa – Ju
31 May: Ke – Ve
30 June: Ke – Me
03 July: Ke – Su
30 July: Sa – Ma
07 Aug: Sa – Ve
30 September: Sa – Sun
07 October: Sa – Me
12 December: Ma – Ra
Eclipses:
Lunar eclipses: 26 June, 21 Dec
Solar eclipses: 15 Jan and 11 July
Transit yogas:
Adhi yoga for Cancer lagna / Moon.
Shubha karthi yoga for Capricorn / Moon
Kumbha yoga begins on Jan 14 and ends on 28 April.
Observations:
- Jupiter in Aquarius will heal the world. It will champion a collaboration between the best and the worst of us to help find our meter.
- Mars in continued debilitation through May will adversely affect the armed forces, security forces and terrorists alike.
- Cancer / Karka lagna individuals will find a nice boost to their careers since Kuja / Mars is their 10th lord of profession.
- Shukra / Venus spends an inordinate amount of time in own house of Libra from September through December.
- Avoid marriage when Shukra / Venus goes retrograde from 7 Oct to 18 Nov.
- Sani/Saturn is most intense towards those with a Virgo Moon.
- Those with planets in 10 deg 23 Virgo [Sani goes retrograde] and 3 deg 49 Virgo [when he goes direct] will also feel the intensity of Sani/Saturn.
- Ju/Sa conjunction marks the halfway point in a 10 year cycle. It’s a time for things to come to a boil and take turn things on its head.
How to interpret the transits conjunctions and yogas:
- Identify your lagna lord and be wary of the troublesome conjunctions of your lagna lord.
- Identify the karakas and avoid their related activities during negative conjunctions. [Eg: Avoid marriage during Ve-Ke conjunction and when Venus is retrograde]
- Take advantage of transit yogas so that you can experience benefits that aren’t necessarily in your birth chart.
Solar eclipse details:
Eclipse of Jan 15:
- Start of Kumbha mela.
- Not visible in US / UK.
- Begins at Somalia, Uganda, Kenya and then goes through Maldives, South tip of India and North tip of Sri Lanka, ends in Burma and China.
- Maldives is where it will be most intense.
- Energy of eclipse is about raising awareness.
- Eclipse path shows earthquakes, turmoil, tsunami.
- Last for 11 mins. [perhaps will not recur for another 1000 yrs]
- 1 deg 1 Capricorn will be sensitive for 11 yrs.
- Where it is not visible, it’s not that there is no impact — but that the impact / awareness is hidden.
South Pacific Eclipse – 11 July, 8:41pm
- Big change for UK
- Lasts for five minutes.
- Nasa eclipse website.
- Path: Tonga, ends in southern tip of Argentina and Chile.
- Dealing with change in your life — Eclipse is an omen for your life. See dasha, transits to interpret personal impact.
- Those born on July 11 will perhaps want to pay more attention.
